The Assemblies of God of Angola has been growing at an exceptional pace. By some estimates there are over 2.5 million Angolans that attend an Assemblies of God church every Sunday morning. Praise the Lord! AGWM Africa has been partnering with the Angola Assemblies of God for the last 40 years to train key leaders in Angola. Most have been trained at the diploma level. Recently the government of Angola has made the decision that all Pastors must have at least a BA level degree in order to continue pastoring. While AGWM and the Angola Assemblies of God have been training some pastors at the BA level, the vast majority of pastors in Angola have not been trained at this level. To meet the coming need to train many more at the BA level, Africa’s Hope, the Angola Assemblies of God through their school FATAD and the Assemblies of God Graduate School of Theology located in Lomé, Togo are forming a partnership to train a cohort of Angolan Pastors at the MA level, thus allowing them to be academically qualified to teach at the BA level. We need your help to make this happen. In order to cover the costs of this program, we need to raise $6000 per student for 20 students to be enrolled in this program and earn a Master’s degree in Theology and Missions. In the USA the cost of a Master’s degree is between $25,000 and $75,000. For just $120,000 we can train 20 who will impact hundreds if not thousands. “Spirit empowered biblically trained leaders are the Hope of Africa.”
