Africa's Hope was happy to host the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God of Ethiopia today. God is doing some amazing things in this country.

I had a service with Pastor Saglimbene at Calvary Assembly in Lansing Michigan this morning. A highlight was a family choir from Burundi who attend his church.

I had dinner with Barry Bernard and his family tonight in Midland, Michigan. Barry represents the Africa part of the missions team at Christian Celebration Center.

I had lunch with Pastor Gordy Aikin of Muskegon Michigan today. I had a wonderful time of fellowship sharing what God is doing in Africa.

Tonight I attended a graduation banquet for my youngest son Matt. Where does time go?  Matt has done very well academically graduating with honors.

I had lunch today with a missionary Ken Krucker who God has given a vision to train African leaders in financial management, stewardship and accountability.

Media can be a very effective way of reaching into difficult areas and training pastors in remote locations.

I met with some great missionaries from LIFE Publishers today. We are working together to develop the “Discovery Series” curriculum for Africa.

The Uganda teacher enrichment conference was attended by about 120 teachers from all over East Africa. Many workshops were presented to address contemporary training issues.

The teacher enrichment conference in Uganda begins today. It looks like I will not make it as there are still no flights going through Europe, and all other routs to Uganda are fully booked.
