Living the Truth Bible Study Series – A Journey of Translation

One of the greatest needs in Africa today is to ensure that people are trained to learn and apply God’s Word to their lives. Many Africans come to know Jesus as Savior and attend a local church, but they quickly struggle in their faith because they are not discipled.  Living the Truth is a Bible based, seven-year curriculum, which provides sound biblical teaching to help individuals learn how to live out their faith in a way that is practical and relevant within the African context.

Living the Truth will be used in over 79,000 congregations across Africa. In order for that to be possible, we need to be able to supply Living the Truth in national languages. The best way to communicate the Gospel, and to study God’s word is in an individual’s own language. Our goal is to translate the series into 14 of the major heart languages across Africa. Those languages are: Amharic, Arabic, ChichewaFrench, Hausa, Kinyarwanda, Lingala, Malagasy, Mòoré, Oromiffa, Portuguese, SomaliSpanish, and Swahili. Below is a map showing the languages and the regions where they are spoken.
