Description

We provide leadership training, including Master’s and doctoral-level leadership courses, to Pentecostal church leaders throughout Africa.

History

The Africa Pentecostal Leadership Institute (APLI) began in the Southern Africa region in the mid-to-late 1990’s, with Dr. Byron Klaus, president of Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Mo., and missionary G.L. Haggard. APLI provides leadership training in a variety of venues.

Focus

The focus of APLI as a ministry initiative is twofold.  First, we seek ways to shape Pentecostal leaders that are Spirit-filled and biblically based that will positively contribute to the African church and society.  The goal is to shape men and women who will be healthy spiritual leaders in every area of their lives. Second, APLI seeks to facilitate venues for spiritual leaders in the West (pastors and lay-leaders) to interact with African leaders as a means for mutual enrichment and growth as the global body of Christ.
