Africa’s Hope is pleased to announce a partnership agreement with the ministry of Greater Than Gold (GTG) to offer the GTG Bible Study Series to local churches throughout all of Africa. The African version of the series will be known as the Roots of Faith Series.
Pictured above is John Easter and Mike Farias, Executive Director of GTG, signing an agreement that will allow Africa’s Hope to translate the discipleship series into at least twelve languages and create a training system for it that is appropriate to the African context.
This study has already been field tested with remarkable success in Angola. Missionary Harry Osland and Angolan pastor Isaac Luciano introduced the Roots of Faith Series to Angola. In just a few years, nearly 8,000 believers have enrolled in the studies, scores of churches have developed study groups, and the national church has made this study a requirement for all its future ministers.
This Roots of Faith Series guides a student through a complete reading of the Bible. The reader fills out questions related to each chapter of the Bible and meets weekly for teaching and interaction. The program offers a certificate to those who complete the entire series.
